Over 20 years in partnership

We at Nationwide believe everyone deserves a safe place that’s fit to call home. Which is why, for more than twenty years, we’ve been a partner of Shelter, supporting them in their fight to end the housing emergency in this country. Over the duration of the partnership, over £7 million has been raised by colleagues and members and we've supported over 100,000 people through the Emergency Helpline.

Helpline adviser, Jenny:

"I’d like to say a massive thank you to supporters like you. Everything we do is only possible because of you. Since I joined Shelter, I’ve been bowled over by how much is done, every day, to fight for people’s right to a safe home. From the emergency helpline and web chat services, to the legal department which provides complex casework, everywhere I turn I can see what you’ve made possible. In this national housing emergency, as living costs soar and vital COVID-19 protections like the evictions ban are ended, our helpline faces huge demand as people look to us for support and advice. I’m so grateful to you that we can help and empower them. Please give again today and help us be there when it matters most."
